COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Women produced a dominant performance to register a 21-run victory over Bangladesh Women in the second T20 International, securing an unassailable 2–0 lead in the series.
Batting first, Sri Lanka Women posted a total of 154 for 4 in their 20 overs. Harshitha Samarawickrama led the innings with a fine knock of 49 off 29 balls, while captain Chamari Athapaththu contributed 42 off 37 deliveries.
In reply, Bangladesh Women reached 133 for 5 from their 20 overs, falling short of the target by 21 runs. Sharmin Akhter top-scored for Bangladesh with 44 off 47 balls, with Juwairiya Ferdous adding 29 off 23 deliveries.
Sri Lanka won the 1st T20 International on 28th April by 25 runs.
