Wheat Flour Price Rises Amid Fuel Cost Hike

COLOMBO (News 1st): The price of one kilogram of wheat flour has been increased by 5 rupees.
This decision was made in consideration of the rise in transportation costs following the recent hike in fuel prices.
The President of the All Ceylon Bakery Owners' Association, N.K. Jayawardena, stated that despite the increase in wheat flour prices, the prices of bakery products will not be raised.
