Two Close Associates of Iniya Bharathi Arrested in Akkaraipattu

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested two close associates of Former Eastern Provincial Council Member Iniya Bharathi in Akkaraipattu following lengthy investigations into multiple complaints leading to the arrests. 

The suspects are allegedly linked to organized crime, terrorist activities, and other illegal operations.

Investigations have revealed information regarding a camp operated by the suspects.

The arrests come while Iniya Bharathi himself remains in custody, currently being detained and interrogated by authorities over allegations.
