Police Destroy Over 300kg of Seized Narcotics

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A stock of narcotics from concluded court cases were destroyed in Vanathavilluwa, Puttlam today, Police confirmed.
The destroyed substances were seized by the Police Narcotics Bureau during various raids at the Balapitiya and Chilaw courts as part of legal proceedings which have now concluded.
According to the police, 22kg 888g of Heroin, 33kg 172g Cocaine and 247kg 940g of Cannabis were destroyed the Laktowatta incinerator in Vanathavilluwa at 9:00 AM today.
