COLOMBO (News 1st); The use of a motor vehicle valued at Rs. 17.5 million belonging to Sampath Manamperi, who is currently in remand custody, has been suspended for a period of seven days.
The action was taken by the Illegal Assets Investigation Division.

In addition, investigations are ongoing against Sampath Manamperi in connection with alleged offences including the transportation of cannabis, robbery using firearms, and acts of terrorism.
