Opposition Lacks Clear Vision, Says Uvindu Wijeweera

COLOMBO (News 1st): Leader of the Second generation Uvindu Wijeweera has criticised the opposition, saying that they lack clear direction and long-term planning.

He made the comments today while visiting the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya to seek blessings for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

Wijeweera said the opposition appears focused on gaining power without proper strategy.

He added that the public is instead expecting a political movement that prioritises the country’s interests and addresses what he described as a major gap in the political system.
