COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National QR Payment Promotion Project will Begin Tomorrow.
The project will be chaired by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
According to the President's Media Division, from tomorrow, financial institutions will fully remove the service fee for merchants on all LankaQR transactions up to Rs. 5,000.
The initiative aims to move the country towards a cashless economy, allowing small-scale merchants to accept digital payments without any additional costs.
