Commissioner General of Motor Traffic Remanded Until April 10

COLOMBO (News 1st): Commissioner General of Motor Traffic, Kamal Amarasinghe, has been remanded until April 10.

The order was issued when he was produced before Pelessa Magistrate W.M.M.I. Wasala this morning.

Amarasinghe was arrested in Melsiripura on March 27 by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over allegations of conspiring to fraudulently assemble a motor vehicle and aiding and abetting the offence.
