18 Foreign Nationals Arrested in Negombo For Online Fraud

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Police have arrested 18 foreign nationals in Negombo for defrauding money online.
The suspects include 16 Chinese nationals and two Cambodian nationals, who were involved in online fraud and business activities.
Police seized computer equipment during a raid at a lodge in Negombo.
The suspects have been remanded until the 6th of April after being produced before the Negombo Magistrate's Court.
