COLOMBO(News 1st); Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a discussion with Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on the escalating situation in West Asia and its potential global impact.
In a statement shared on X, Prime Minister Modi said the conversation focused on the evolving crisis in West Asia, with particular attention to disruptions affecting global energy security.
The two leaders also reviewed the progress of key initiatives aimed at strengthening energy cooperation between India and Sri Lanka. Discussions further centered on enhancing regional security amid growing geopolitical uncertainties.
