COLOMBO (News 1st): A Police Constable has been injured after a trap gun discharged in Yalagamuwa, Uva Paranagama.
Police say that a group of officers had been conducting a raid in the Yalagamuwa area when the constable was struck by a trap gun set for hunting wild animals.
The injured officer is a Police Constable attached to the Uva Paranagama Police Station.
He has been admitted to the Welimada Hospital for treatment.
