COPE To Inspect Norochcholai Power Plant Today

COLOMBO(News 1st); Officials of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) are scheduled to inspect the Norochcholai Power Plant today to investigate concerns over coal importation.

COPE Chairman, Parliamentarian Nishantha Samaraweera, said the inspection will be carried out today with the participation of both government and opposition members.

He added that a comprehensive review of the coal importation process for the Norochcholai Power Plant will be conducted, and a report will be prepared on the findings.
