Kalutara Police Arrest Two in Nagoda Attack Case

The Kalutara District Crime Division has arrested two men, aged 18 and 27, for aiding and abetting an attempted murder in Nagoda, Kalutara. 

On February 7, an assailant tried to shoot a person at Nagoda junction, but the firearm failed to fire.

Police said the suspects were involved in transporting the firearm, changing the color of the motorcycle used in the crime, and assisting the attack. 

Investigators also seized motorcycle parts, repainting materials, fake number plates, and a fake income tax license from them.

Authorities seized motorcycle parts, materials used to alter its color, a set of fake number plates, and a fake income tax license from the suspects.

The Kalutara District Crime Division has launched further investigations into the incident.
