A.F. Jones Exporters Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd Wins Silver Award at 33rd NC Export Awards

COLOMBO (News 1st) – The 33rd NC Export Awards, organized by the National Chamber of Exports (NCE), was held in Colombo yesterday to recognize and reward excellence within Sri Lanka’s exporter community for the outstanding achievements in the 2025 calendar year.

The prestigious ceremony honored several institutions that contribute significantly to Sri Lanka’s foreign exchange earnings and play a vital role in strengthening the national economy. The annual awards highlight exceptional performance across multiple export sectors, celebrating companies that have demonstrated excellence in international trade.

The tea industry was among the distinguished sectors recognized at the event, reaffirming its importance as one of Sri Lanka’s leading export industries.

A.F. Jones Exporters Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Capital Maharaja Group, received the Silver Award in the Extra Large Category of the Tea & Tea Product Sector for the outstanding achievements in the 2025 calendar year.

The recognition is considered significant, as A.F. Jones Exporters Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd was selected from among more than 350 tea export companies currently operating in Sri Lanka, underscoring its strong performance and competitive standing in the global tea market.
