UGC to Expand Student Housing Across Seven Campuses

COLOMBO(News 1st): The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced a decision to construct new hostels across seven universities.
According to UGC these facilities will be built to accommodate atleast 2,400 students.
The project will be headed by the Ministry of Education, and aims to address the severe shortage of residential facilities faced by university students.
