Sacred Buddha Relics from Devni Mori, Departs for Exposition in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News1st): The Holy Devnimori Relics of Lord Buddha, are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka this afternoon.

The Holy Relics will be accompanied by a high-level Indian delegation led by Shri Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Gujarat, and Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, along with senior monks and officials. 

Following the official reception of the Sacred Relics at the Bandaranayake International Airport in Katunayake, they will be escorted in a procession to the Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya, Colombo, later this evening.

The public exposition of the Sacred Relics will be inaugurated under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. 

The exposition of the Sarvanna Relics will begin at 6:00 AM the day after tomorrow and will remain open to the public until 7:00 AM on the 11th of this month.

The relics will be available for worship 24 hours a day throughout the exposition period.
