Train Services On Coastal Line Face Delays Due To Signaling Upgrades

COLOMBO (News 1st) -The Railway Department says train services on the Coastal Line may experience delays today due to the renovation of the signaling system between Colombo Fort and Wellawatte railway stations.

The department said the upgrades aim to increase the number of trains on both the upper and lower lines between these stations.

As a result, trains running on the Coastal Line during the morning and evening may be delayed by 15 minutes.
