Over 6,000 Acres of Land Released to Rebuild Houses Destroyed by Ditwah

COLOMBO (News1st): The Department of Land Development announced that over 6,000 acres of land have been handed over to District Secretaries for the reconstruction of houses destroyed by recent disasters.

Chandana Ranaweera Land Commissioner General, said that all of these lands will undergo inspection by the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO).

He further noted that the lands will be released for the construction of new houses once the safety inspections are completed.
