COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka has qualified for the Super Six stage of the 2026 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, after recording a convincing 106-run victory over Ireland.
The match was played in Windhoek, Namibia.
Batting first, Sri Lanka posted 267 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Captain Vimath Dinsara led the charge with a fine 95, while Chamika Heenatigala remained unbeaten on 51.
In reply innings, Ireland were bowled out for 161.
Dulnith Sigera starred with the ball, taking four wickets.
