PM Urges to Prioritize Children’s Future Over Political Agendas

COLOMBO (News1st): Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya emphasized that decisions regarding education must be made solely for the benefit of children and should not be made based on any political influences or personal factors.

Speaking at the launch of the official website for Zahira Muslim College in Puttalam, Prime Minister stressed that children should always remain the top priority.

The Prime Minister noted that the country is currently facing the consequences of wrong decisions made in the past and urged that moving forward, decisions must prioritize the happiness and future of the younger generation.

Additionally, Dr. Amarasuriya reiterated that the government's policy remains committed to creating equal and boundless educational opportunities for all students regardless of the social or economic backgrounds.
