Sluice Gates of Inginimitiya Reservoir Opened

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Irrigation has announced that the sluice gates of the Inginimitiya Reservoir have been opened.

Accordingly, water will be released from the reservoir at a rate of 1,000 cubic feet per second.

The Department has advised residents living in low-lying areas of the reservoir to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
