COLOMBO (News 1st); Six individuals convicted of a double murder were sentenced to death.
The verdict was delivered by Ampara High Court Judge Ruchira Srimith Mendis Wijesekara following a lengthy trial.
The case relates to an incident on April 14, 2015, in the Padiyathalawa area, where three individuals were assaulted, and two of them were killed after being run over by a lorry.
