Suspect Wanted in Two Shootings Arrested with Heroin in Damana

COLOMBO(News 1st);A suspect who was wanted in connection with two shootings in the Hingurana, Damana has been arrested along with drugs.
The police stated that the suspect, who was wanted in connection with shooting and injuring a person in Hirana and planning the shooting and murder of a person in Panadura, was arrested with 13 grams of heroin and produced before the Damana Police Station.
The person arrested is a 39-year-old resident of the Hingurana area.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Damana and Hirana Police Stations and the Panadura Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau.
