SLTB Deploys Additional Bus Services for Adverse Weather Relief

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Transport Board has announced that it is implementing additional bus services for commuters with the aim of supporting any disaster situation from the adverse weather conditions.

The Deputy General Manager of the SLTB, Rohan Chandrasena, stated that all depots have been informed regarding the measure.

He added that as per the directive of the Committee for Disaster Management and the Department of Railways, buses will be deployed from the nearest bus depots where incidents will be reported.
