Sajith Faces Bribery Commission Summons

COLOMBO (News 1st); Reports indicate that Opposition Leader and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Leader Sajith Premadasa is expected to be summoned before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).

The summons is reportedly linked to an ongoing investigation based on a complaint received by the Commission.

According to sources, the complaint alleges that state funds were used for development activities at the United National Party’s Sirikotha headquarters.
