Murders Reported In Habaraduwa And Dehiwala

COLOMBO(News 1st); A woman has been killed in Habaraduwa after being attacked with a sharp weapon.

Police said the victim was a 42-year-old woman from Angulugaha, Pilana, and the suspect is her husband, who committed the murder following a family dispute.

Meanwhile, a man from Dehiwala has been arrested in connection with a separate murder that took place on the coastal road in Dehiwala.

Police said the 38-year-old suspect was arrested in Dehiwala. The murder, committed by strangulation, occurred on May 10.
