Paul Stephens Ends Tenure As Australian HC To Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Paul Stephens, paid a farewell visit to Minister Vijitha Herath, marking the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure in Colombo. 

The meeting reflected on recent high-level bilateral engagements and reaffirmed the strong partnership between the two nations.

Minister Herath, in a note shared via his official X account, expressed deep appreciation for the High Commissioner’s active role in enhancing cooperation between Sri Lanka and Australia.

He commended Stephens for his dedication to fostering mutual understanding and addressing shared challenges with sincerity and openness.

During the discussion, High Commissioner Stephens thanked the Minister for his collaborative spirit and reaffirmed Australia’s commitment to continuing its support for Sri Lanka’s development and regional stability.
