Office Worker In Analyst's Dept Arrested With Drugs

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 58-year-old office assistant attached to the Government Analyst’s Department was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) during a targeted raid in Hokandara South.

According to police sources, the suspect was found in possession of 265 grams of heroin and 250 grams of crystal methamphetamine (commonly known as “Ice”).

The arrest was made during a special operation conducted by the STF, who acted on intelligence suggesting narcotics activity in the area. The suspect, a resident of Hokandara South, was immediately handed over to the Malabe Police Station for further investigation.
