Rehabilitation Centers See Increase in Admissions

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Bureau of Rehabilitation says there has been an increase in the number of drug addicts seeking rehabilitation.

According to the Bureau, 609 individuals are currently undergoing treatment at the rehabilitation centers in Kandakadu, Senapura, and Vavuniya.

These centers have a combined capacity to accommodate 1,120 people at a time.

The Bureau stated that there is still capacity to accommodate 511 more individuals across the three facilities
