Argument Turns Deadly: Man Killed, Mother Injured

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 30-year-old resident of Kusalanamale was brutally killed in the Narakamulla area of Karadiyanaru last night following a heated altercation that escalated into violence.

According to police reports, the suspect attacked the victim and his mother using a sharp weapon, believed to be a machete, before fleeing the scene. 

The victim succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect, who remains at large.
