Qatar Closes Airspace Temporarily

Qatar says it has shut down its airspace temporarily as part of measures taken amid developments in the region.

The shutdown comes as Iran repeated earlier threats to retaliate against the United States after strikes on its nuclear sites.

Earlier, the US and UK embassies in Qatar released statements recommending their citizens in Qatar to shelter in place until further notice. 

A number of schools in Qatar have also been ordered shut for tomorrow.
