COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has launched further investigations into two establishments in Rajagiriya accused of selling perfumes under fake labels.

The products, which are marketed as imports from Australia and Britain, are reportedly being sold both online and to prominent retail outlets across the island.

However, during a recent raid, CAA officials revealed that the sellers failed to produce any documentation verifying the importation of the perfumes.

Legal action is expected to follow based on findings from the ongoing investigation.
