Ex-Minister Duminda Remanded Over Gold-Colored T-56 Rifle

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake has been remanded until June 5, following his appearance before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court today (29).

The remand order comes in connection with the discovery of a gold-colored T-56 assault rifle at a housing complex in Wellawatte.

Dissanayake was arrested last Friday by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) in relation to the incident.
