Drunk School Bus Driver Caught with 16 Kids Onboard

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 52-year-old school bus driver from Radaliyagoda, Katupotha, was arrested yesterday after being found under the influence of alcohol while transporting schoolchildren.

According to police, the arrest was made during a routine check in the town of Katupotha, where the driver of a student transport bus was subjected to an inspection. 

Authorities confirmed that the driver was intoxicated at the time of the inspection.

At the time of the arrest, the bus was carrying 16 schoolchildren and two mothers.
