Rs. 157m Fertilizer Subsidies For Yala Cultivation Across 9 Districts

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Agrarian Development says that fertilizer subsidies for the Yala season, will be disbursed today and tomorrow.
Its Commissioner General, Rohana Rajapaksa, stated that funds will be released for nine districts.
A fertilizer subsidy of Rs. 25,000 per acre will be provided, covering up to two acres per farmer.
A total of Rs. 157 million is scheduled to be disbursed today and tomorrow.
