SAP Innovation Day: AI and Data Take Center Stage

COLOMBO (News 1st); The SAP Business Unleashed Innovation Day, held in Colombo, highlighted SAP’s ambitious new vision for enterprise management, integrating artificial intelligence (AI), data, and cutting-edge cloud applications.

The event brought together industry leaders, tech pioneers, and visionaries, creating a dynamic platform for innovation and collaboration.

The event featured a keynote address by Rahul Baheti, Chief Operating Officer of SAP Indian Subcontinent, who expressed confidence in the economic growth of Sri Lanka and the Indian subcontinent.

"I am 100% confident that in 2025, Sri Lanka's GDP will be ahead of most developed economies in Europe. For India, it will be the first year we aim to overtake China in terms of GDP. If this happens, nothing can stop us from becoming a powerful Indian subcontinent comprising India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh," Baheti stated. He emphasized SAP's strategy of growing together with customers and partners, leveraging data as a critical asset for decision-making.

Representing the Capital Maharaja Group, Group Director Eshini Mudalige highlighted the necessity of embracing digital transformation. "To survive and gain a competitive edge, joining the transformation process is essential. Cloud ERP, business AI, and real-time data-driven decision-making are musts," Mudalige said. She stressed the importance of rapid scalability and innovation, facilitated by cloud ERP and SAP's business AI tools.

The event also included expert panel discussions, customer best practices sessions, interactive demos, and ample networking opportunities, making it a pivotal gathering for the region's business and technology communities.
