Sri Lanka to Dispatch Relief Team to Myanmar Following Earthquake

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Health and Mass Media has announced the formation of a relief team to support those impacted by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.

Deputy Minister Hansaka Wijemuni confirmed that the team comprises 30 members, including two specialist doctors, six army doctors, and nursing staff.

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Myanmar has already informed the local authorities, and the relief team will be deployed once approval is granted by the Myanmar government.
