Police Open Fire on Fleeing Motorcyclist

COLOMBO (News 1st); A motorcyclist who ignored police orders and fled in the Galhena area of Minuwangoda was shot by the police.
Senior Superintendent of Police Buddhika Manatunga stated that the individual sustained a leg injury from the gunshot and has been hospitalized.
The police confirmed that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident.
