One Dead in Ambalangoda Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st) - One person was killed in a shooting that took place in Idamthota, Ambalangoda.

Police said that the victim was shot at about 6.30 pm, while he was traveling on the road.

The deceased is a 45-year-old father of four, and a resident of Idamthota.

No information has yet been revealed about the reason behind the shooting or the suspects.
