08 SSPs Transferred

Colombo (News 1st ) - Eight Senior Superintendents of Police have been transferred, subject to the approval of the National Police Commission.

The Police Headquarters has announced that Senior Superintendent of Police P.M.K.D. Paliskara has been transferred from the Criminal Investigation Department to the position of Director of the Financial Crimes Investigation Division.

Senior Superintendent of Police C.B. Medawala has been transferred from the Ministerial Security Division to the position of Director of the Special Security Division.

Senior Superintendent of Police A.A. Edirimanne, who previously served as the Director of the Human Rights Division, has been transferred to the position of OIC of Galle.

Other Senior Superintendents of Police who have been transferred include K.G.P.B. Samarapala, S.M.K.C. Thilakarathna, P.G. Darshana, L.A.D. Rathnaweera, and K.N. Gunawardena.
