COLOMBO (News 1st): In a heartbreaking incident, a one-and-a-half-year-old child has died after consuming medicine intended for his grandmother.

The incident was reported from the Katkuwari region in Mankulam.

According to police reports, the child fell ill after ingesting the medication at home. Despite receiving treatment at Kilinochchi Hospital, the child tragically passed away.
