Postal Voting Application Deadline for Local Government Election Closes on March 12

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Election Commission says that the acceptance of applications from eligible postal voters for the Local Government election will close at midnight on March 12. 

Issuing a statement, the commission has notified the applicants to submit their duly completed forms to the respective District Election Office before the deadline.

The statement further emphasizes that the deadline for accepting postal voting applications will not be extended under any circumstances.

Applicants can also obtain the postal voting application forms by visiting the official website of the Election Commission.
