Air Quality Declines in Nallur, Embilipitiya, and Kegalle

COLOMBO (News 1st); The air quality in Nallur, Embilipitiya, and Kegalle has deteriorated today, according to the National Building Research Organization (NBRO). 

The decline is attributed to wind currents from South Asian countries.

Individuals with respiratory issues and children are advised to take special precautions. 

The NBRO recommends that such individuals wear face masks to mitigate the effects of poor air quality.

The NBRO also mentioned that the current conditions are expected to improve by this afternoon.
