Workers' Remittances Grow by 10.1% in 2024

COLOMBO (News 1st); Workers' remittances in 2024 amounted to USD 6,575 million, compared to USD 5,970 million in 2023, marking a year-on-year growth of 10.1%.
In December 2024 alone, workers' remittances totaled USD 614 million, said the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
