Two-Day Adjournment Debate on 'Clean Sri Lanka' Program Set for January 21-22

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Parliament will hold a two-day Adjournment Debate on the government's "Clean Sri Lanka" program on January 21 and 22, 2025.

The debate will begin on Tuesday, January 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., following the Business of Parliament, Questions for Oral Answers, and Questions under Standing Order 27(2).

The debate will continue on Wednesday, January 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The government has moved the motion for the debate, which will focus on the national program aimed at improving cleanliness and environmental standards across the country.
