Export Development Board to Reestablish Council of Ministers After 28 Years

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Sri Lanka Export Development Board has announced the re-establishment of the Council of Ministers for Export Development after 28 years. 

Chairman of the Board Mangala Wijesinghe revealed that the chairmanship of the council will be held by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Although previous efforts were made to establish the council, they were not implemented systematically. 

Wijesinghe emphasized that the primary goal of the newly formed council is to boost Sri Lanka's export income of goods and services to 18 billion dollars by the end of the year.
