Radiation Treatment Disrupted at Apeksha Hospital

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Radiation treatments at the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital have been disrupted due to an electrical system malfunction, according to Chanaka Dharmawickrama, President of the Government Radiological Technologists Association.

Three machines used for cancer patient examinations have been out of service since December 31st. 

While two of these machines have been restored, one remains non-operational. 

Each of these machines typically treats around 60 cancer patients daily.
