Sri Lanka Police Announce Special Traffic Plan for Galle Face on New Year's Eve

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police have announced that a special traffic plan will be implemented around the Galle Face Green in Colombo, citing New Year's Eve today.

Director and Police Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent of Police Buddhika Manatunga, stated that a large crowd is expected to gather at Galle Face tonight to welcome the New Year.

Accordingly, the traffic plan will be implemented in the police divisions of Pettah, Kompanna Veediya, Maradana, Colpetty, Bambalapitiya, and Kurunduwatta.

The Police Spokesperson says that people may park their vehicles in parking lots in Maradana, Colpetty, Bambalapitiya, and Kurunduwatta, when coming to Galle Face.
