Colombo Magistrate Orders Immediate Arrest of Suspects in Fraudulent Scheme Using Minister Handunnetti's Name

COLOMBO (News 1st): Colombo Additional Magistrate Mohamed Rizwan has ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to immediately arrest the suspects who have allegedly fraudulently collected money from local and foreign individuals through social media, by using the name and image of Minister Sunil Handunnetti, and to present them in court.

The Magistrate also instructed that the bank records of the individuals identified as suspects in the investigation be gathered for further inquiry.
