Third Fatality Reported in University Bus Accident: 24-Year-Old Succumbs to Injuries

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Another student who was injured in the university bus accident that occured along the Badulla-Dunhinda main road in the Ambagas Oya area, has died while receiving treatment at the Kothalawala Defense University Hospital. 

The Ministry of Defense says that he was a 24-year-old resident of Jaffna. 

This increases the number of fatalities in the bus accident that occurred on the 1st of November, to 3. 

The 2 other students were residents of Kurunegala and Nivithigala.
